Both Judy and I have great memories of Vera enjoying a visit when we could …we were always welcome - and just try and leave without something to drink and eat! A great friend, wife, Mom and Grandma who will be missed!

Our condolences and prayers for peace and comfort for you all. I (Eva) have been thinking about her this past while, wondering where she was. She was so easy to chat with any time we met her. We have met so many wonderful people through our kids hockey years and she as well as Gordon were a couple of the best. May you have special memories that will bring a smile or even a tear as you gather in McCord.

Vera was a wonderful,soft-spoken woman,dedicated to her husband,children,and large extended family.She loved to put the coffee on for anyone who came by for a visit.My last visit with her was on October 18th.Even though speech was an issue with her,she was happy to see me,and looked out her window when I mentioned what a warmish,sunny day it was!
