Ferne Dodds Jolly Robb

With mixed emotions, we say good bye to our beloved Ferne who passed away with her family by her side on April 21, 2023 just 3 days shy of her 97^th birthday. She was the cherished matriarch of our family, and is survived by her children, Warren Jolly (Paula), Wendy Wuschke (Donald), Darla Frank and Dawn Glasrud (Chris), her grandchildren Peggy, Cherilyn, Bryan, Mike, Katie and Tim, many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Nothing meant more to Ferne than her family. We already miss her. She is predeceased by her first husband Doug Jolly from Mossbank and her second husband Alex Robb from Regina. In her final days, she jokingly admitted that she would be joining the callithumpian parade as the last sibling of “the Big 8!” She was a gifted teacher prior to farming with her husband Doug for over 50 years and raising their children on the Jolly family farm near Mossbank. Ferne was an active community volunteer wherever she was needed. Eastern Star was important to her for many years. She was an accomplished quilter, a baker and a raspberry jam maker! Her memorial will be held at the Sunset United Church in Regina, SK on Friday April 28^th at 2pm with Jim Tenford officiating. The address is 177 Sunset Drive.
