Obituary of Eileen Stoian

Eileen Trudy Stoian of Limerick, SK, passed away on January 16, 2014, at the age of 75 years. She was born in Lydiatt, MB, to Jacob and Matilda Hein. After her schooling, she worked for a short time in Winnipeg, MB. Eileen married John Stoian on November 8, 1969, and they were blessed with three children, Bill, Peter, Dean. Eileen treasured spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was the kind of mother that you could talk to about anything, and had a healing presence. She took great pride in caring for her boys and loved baking bread for them. Sunday was always a day of rest and after Mass the family enjoyed picnics at the Wood Mountain Park. Eileen loved being outdoors and nature. Eileen is predeceased by her loving husband John Stoian (2010); parents Jacob and Matilda Hein; brother Lawrence Hein. She is survived by her son Bill (Niki) Hein, granddaughter Raegan; son Peter Stoian; son Dean Stoian; siblings Linda (Amos) Kravec, Edward Hein, Arnie Hein, Violet Hein and Gladys Hein. The Funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 20, 2014, at 3:00 p.m., at Piche-Hawkins-Grondin Funeral Chapel, Assiniboia, SK, with Father Cosmin Sicoe celebrant. The pallbearers were Bill Hein, Pete Stoian, Dean Stoian, Larry Lethbridge, Shane Auser and Doug McCord. Interment took place at Saints Peter & Paul Romanian Orthodox Cemetery, Flintoft, SK.
