Bonnie was predeceased by her son Ricky in 1969, her husband Gerald in 1987 and her son Dwaine in 2022. Her mother Lillian in 1950, her father Arnold in 1980; 6 brothers: Maurice 2008, Richard 2011, Francis 2001, Orville 1969, Kenneth 2009 & Roy 2016; 2 sisters: Hannah 2000 & Isabella 2015; special friend Harold Anderson in 2016. Bonnie was a homemaker on the family farm for 30+ years where she raised her children and enjoyed every minute of it. Mom had the first of her 2 dream trips when she went to Hawaii with Dad, Hannah, cousin Bonnie, Elvara & Frank. After Dad’s passing, Mom moved to Assiniboia in the late 80’s and worked at Ross Nursing Home as a Dietary Aide until the late 90’s when she had a heart attack and took early retirement. Mom had many enjoyable years in the early 2000’s with a close friend, Harold Anderson, until his passing in 2016. (Mom and Harold went on an Alaska cruise, which was her 2nd dream trip). Mom then moved into a cottage at Jubilee Crescent, caring for herself until her final days. Mom especially looked forward to getting her hair done at T’Neil’s, enjoying the company of her family, friends, neighbors, and many calls & visits from loved ones.  A private family Graveside Service, Saturday, September 30, 2023 will be followed by a public Celebration of Life from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at the Kin Hut.
