~ Sweet Gramma Marj ~
As sweet as sugar in my tea, one special lady
we just bonded so naturally.
Gramma was a woman of energy and grace
always a warm welcoming smile on her sweet little face.
Her love was a blooming garden, so vibrant so bright
she never judged anyone and did everything just right.
I cherished her so dearly, oh how I loved and adored
in my heart, I will never ignore.
Her spirit was a fire with the most radiant glow
for years upon years, she would just go, go, go!!!
Her warm presence was an embracing dance
she made the best of everyday and took every chance.
With her zest for living, she was a joyous song
her love, her positivity right to her fight in the end
a melody… she leaves with us so strong.
Now that you’re spirit is free
go jump moon beam to star
because in my heart you will never be far.
Sweet Dreams and God Bless
Sweet Gramma Love Carla ♥️

As we remember aunt Marj the following come to mind… matriarch of the Linn clan. Intelligent, strong, steadfast and highly energetic, a people person. Always welcoming with that smile. Marj deserved and expected the best life had to offer. Everyone could learn something from a life so well lived. We were all fortunate to have had you in our lives. Rest easy knowing you’ve left quite a legacy behind.

Our sincere condolences to all the Linn families on the passing of your matriarch, our absolute best friend Marj. What a marvelous person she was!
There is no doubt in our minds that the friendship and kindness of she and Bill, and the whole Ireland - Linn family, was the number one reason we became Canadians!
An absolute gem! We have so many happy memories, so many warm thoughts of her influences on all of our family. We are all very proud, and feel privileged, to have felt her love and affection. A life well lived.
With love and best wishes to Diana, Susan, and Bob, and to all their families,
John, Eileen, and all the Gormans.

Big hugs to you and yours, Diana, Susan and Bob. I know that you know how important your family has been to ours over the last six decades from the time that John, Michael and I were babies! Although we have been gone from Mossbank for many years, Marj (and Bill) were the ties that bound us forever to Saskatchewan and the prairies. I will really miss your Mom's comments on my Facebook posts, too!

Ahhh, Jo, Susan and Bobbie...the passing of your sweet Mom fills me with beautiful memories of her, your Dad and you all. When you lived across the lane from us (the Davis') I got to play with you everyday! We hung out all the time in the lane, making mischief in the spare lot or down the alley or behind the house... I have pictures that mean so much to me. Susan - you sent some and I love them. Marj was a steady Mom. I recall her as always quick to smile and find the humour in situations. She radiated loveliness and made the best puffed pastry things with chocolate in the middle! Divine! What were they called? Another thing, as I grew I saw that your Mom never 'cast any shade'. She was non-judegmental and kind - like her sister Jean...and their parents; quality folks that wove character, kinship, fun and beauty into the fabric of Mossbank just by being themselves. I hurt that the door has closed for Marj and that generation - but know that a legacy as big as she left behind will go on and on and on. Love you all. My deepest sympathies. Beth Davis (or as your Mom always called me...'Bethy')

Dear Linn family. We send our deepest condolences to all of you at this sad time. Though we have only met with Grandma Marj a couple of times, our visits were always heartwarming. She always had a big hug and big smile. We’re very happy that she was part of our daughter’s life welcoming her in Mossbank and your family. May she always be an angel by your side and guide you. Ours thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My condolences to all of Marj's family and friends. I remember her well from my youth growing up, hanging around the shop playing with Bob and getting into mischief. She was always so pleasant and accommodating. Such a good Mom, always easy to smile.
In 2015 for Mossbank's 100th anniversary I was blessed to spend a whole day with her and the Gorman's touring around the town, Old Wives Lake and then wonderful hospitality back at her place, for the second meal of the day with her! Oh she was a good cook too. Later on we had a sing song with John playing the guitar, her sister Jean sitting beside me on the couch and all of us singing along. Such a wonderful memory of her. May your memories of your fine Mom help to sustain you all, I have been praying for you all that God will grant you peace until you meet her again in Heaven one day.....Paul Klassen
