Blaine,Boyd, Lisa (and families) Our sincere condolences in the loss of an absolute wonderful human being-your Dad. He enriched the lives of all who knew him. Marleen and I are sorry we couldn't make it to the funeral but saw the video and what a beautiful service it was. There were so many tributes to his caring and generous character-a testiment to the impact he had on everyone that knew him. As "shirt tail" cousins, there was always a special bond between the Ellis and Sutherland families and
while growing up, we younger cousins always looked up to the older Ellis clan for "sage" advice and direction (for better or worse!)
I worked for Grandpa Aubrey a couple of summers -dating back to when your Mom and Dad got married and yes, I remember the infamous trailer they stayed in after they got married! As a naiive 13 year old, that's when I learned one of my first life lessons: IF THE TRAILER'S A ROCKIN'-DON'T COME A KNOCKIN'
We had some great times together and while he may be gone, he'll never be forgotten
