so many memories..
So many memories i will hold dear to my heart dad. The one i will cherish most is the one that showed me you had respect for me. It was the christmas you came and spent with us when the kids were little. It was the only christmas I'd seen you stay away from the booze .. and it was at my request. The best part of that christmas was seeing you barrelling down the hill on the tobogan.
I will always remember going on hunting trips with you and mom...it was the greatest thing. Being in the back of the station wagon with all my toys and snacks while you were out hunting the deer.
All the camping and fishing trips. Because of you i have a love for fishing! I can understand why you loved it...the peacefullness of being near the water is so sureal.
I will miss going for coffee and a plate of fries/onion rings. It was a given to do that when i went to see you.
You will forever be close to my heart dad. I love you..

Jackpot!!
I remember when you used to take me to Bingo alot Dad..I remember winning only once and that was the jackpot this one night you and I went. My card was filling up and I actually started crossing my fingers and wouldn't you know it,I won..I think you were the one who called out 'jackpot' I was kinda shy at the time and I remember that you were more excited than I was..If I recall right it was around 1,200 dollars, such a long time ago. I don' t remember getting to spend the money but I do remember getting a beautiful new winter coat and some clothes..Thanks for the Bingo nights Dad.

Our sympathies to the McGillis family on your loss. Although we cannot be there for the service, we are thinking of you and send our love and hope that are each able to find peace and calm on your difficult day. My biggest memory of Uncle was a summer camping trip when I was 8...he and I were out fishing and caught the BIGGEST fish ever(or I thought so at the time). It was so exciting..I was in 7th heaven!! But, then I watched him clean it...then I never ate fish again!!! I'll always remember that day, thank you Uncle.
