An accident
One early morning the ground had a fresh blanket of snow and a RN was traveling home from a busy night shift.
The RN driving south of lafleche all of a sudden had a collision with a deer.
The deer was vey large apparently was running beside the car and suddenly turned onto the road and collided with the car.
The car was halted and the RN got out of the car and walked up the driveway of Jack and Beth's farm yard.
The door was answered and the RN was shaken and scared .. Beth sat me down at the kitchen table and handed me a coffee.
Jack once he heard the story, left to investigate and the scene, take care of the deer, and see if the car was movable.
Jack returned the deer cared for and the highway made safe, shared a cup of coffee with Beth and myself and related stories that eased the fear and tension ... Making everyone laugh .... Then Jack and Beth drove me home, safe and sound. I realize neighbours help each other ... I was so glad Jack was there that morning to help take care of me...It seems like yesterday!
