Obituary of Jeanne Beaubien

Jeanne Louise Beaubien (nee Dumelie) passed away peacefully at the Assiniboia Union Hospital on Thursday June 4th, 2015, at the age of 77, with her family by her side. Jeanne was the loving mother of Celine (Guy), Bunny (Rose), and Lisa (Mike). Cherished grandmother of Annabel and Ryan. Jeanne will be missed by her surviving brothers and sisters, Marcelle, Pauline, Yvonne (Don), Leo (Addaline), Marie (Sam), Claude (Anne), Roland (Terry), Camille (Sandy), Lucille (Jerry), Pat (Ron). Jeanne will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents George and Annette, by her husband Leon, her sister Lorraine and her brothers-in-law Marcel, Maurice, Renee. Family and friends were welcomed at Piché-Hawkins-Grondin Funeral Chapel, Assiniboia at 1:00 pm on Saturday June 13th. The funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm. A reception immediately followed the service. Interment will occur at a later date at Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener, Ontario. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of Assiniboia Union Hospital for their compassionate care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jeanne can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice. Jeanne will be greatly missed for her kind heart, quiet nature, quick wit and dry humour. The family truly appreciated your prayers and support as we celebrated her life.
