Obituary of Bryce Jonescu

It is with great sadness that the family of Wyncel "Bryce" Jonescu announces his tragic passing on October 12, 2015, at the age of 54 years. Bryce was born in Assiniboia on September 14, 1961. He was the last of 4 children born to John and Helen (nee Bistretzan) Jonescu. He graduated from school in Assiniboia and went to take an electronic technician course at STI in Moose Jaw. He then began to work at Chabot’s Radio and TV, while he farmed on the family farm. Over the years he had various other jobs in addition to farming. He met Joanne St. Jacques and they were married on July 6, 1991. A son, Tyler, was born on July 9, 1992, and a daughter, Shelby, was born soon after on December 1, 1993. Bryce’s passion was living the farm life, raising cattle, seeding, harvesting, trucking, and helping family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, tubing, sledding, and hunting in his spare time. Bryce is cherished by his loving family, wife Joanne; son Tyler (Trista); daughter Shelby (Cody); parents John (1982) and Helen; sister Marlene (Harvey) Janke; brothers Gary and Nick (Wendy); father and mother-in-law Andre and Cecile St. Jacques; sister-in-law Nicole (Blaine) Zopf; brother-in-law Albert (Lois) St. Jacques; sister-in-law Diane (Scott) Williams; numerous nieces and nephews.
