Obituary of Natalie Carlson

Natalie Carlson of Assiniboia, SK, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at the age of 38. She was born on November 29, 1977, in Regina, SK. Natalie attended school in Regina, and enjoyed playing clarinet for 12 years with the Regina Lions Junior Band, and made many lifetime friends. She had a passion for helping others and wanted to be of service to people and her community, as she did with the EMS teams she worked with over the years. She was very young at heart, creative, with a natural talent for design. She loved spending time with her family and her nieces and nephews whenever she could. Natalie treasured the time she spent with her dogs. When she met Evan and Bo, and joined their family, she was in love and so happy. Natalie began working at Wald Ambulance in Assiniboia in April of 1997, and remained there until 2013, when she welcomed their son, Colton. When Colton was born it brought a whole new nurturing, loving side and light to her that will forever be missed. Natalie is survived by her loving spouse Evan Hogg; sons Colton and Bo; mother Candyce Breton; father Wayne (Karen) Carlson; sister Lisa Taylor, nephew Ayden, niece Breton; brother Dustin Carlson, nephews Tyler, Matthew, niece Katherine; brother Lance (Tamara) Pollock, niece Kendra, nephew Nathan; grandfather Gunnar Carlson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Prayer Service was held on Monday, February 15, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., and Celebration of Life on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., both at Piche-Hawkins-Grondin Funeral Chapel, Assiniboia, SK. Officiant was Pastor Doug Miner. The eulogy was shared by Lisa Taylor and Dustin Carlson. Honor guard was formed by EMS and the Fire Department. Memorial donations in memory of Natalie may be made to the South Country Health Care Foundation, for the Assiniboia Union Hospital, Box P.O. Box 1750, Assiniboia, SK SOH OBO.
