He was baptized into Christ at St. Giles Anglican Church, Estevan, SK. Kenneth is survived by his loving family, father John Stevenson; step mother Margaret Mickleborough; sister Peggy Stevenson; sister Nancy (Danial) Harris; and nephews Brooks, Garrett and Logan. Kenneth’s was Myotonic Dystrophy which involves gradual weakening of the muscles. Kenneth had a full life on this earth before being called to a better place. He was a trooper who never gave up. His mother was his greatest advocate, followed closely by his two sisters Peggy and Nancy. The people in the places that he lived were a positive influence in his life. Kenneth lived in Estevan, Coronach, and then made his long time home in Gravelbourg for 28+ years. Gravelbourg is a community full of loving and caring people which is reflected in their organizations. Bon Ami, what a fitting name for the place that Kenneth would make his home, a community where he could be give and receive respect at work and at play. There are many great friends and helpers with whom he depended and enjoyed. The list is long and on behalf of Kenneth we say thanks to all, he couldn’t have had a better life. Thanks to the clients, caregivers and administration of IPI, his church, the curling club, bowling gang and the many places that Kenneth went. There is one special person to be acknowledged, Dennis Giofu. He and Kenneth were in the independent living program. They learned to care for their house, live together and help each other while allowing the other to lead individual life styles. Dennis you are special to our family and may God Bless You. Kenneth you were a good boy, and a fine young man. You made us proud. Funeral Service was held on Thursday, March 17, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., at the Church of Christ, Gravelbourg, SK.
