Obituary of Anna Margaret Knight

Anna Margaret Knight (Annie) passed away peacefully at the Grasslands Health Center, Rockglen, Saskatchewan on May 24, 2017, at the age of 80. Anna was born in Regina, SK on March 8, 1937 to Lena and John Tashulak. She is survived by her three daughters, Angela Knight (Jeff), Abigail (Cam) MacFarlane and Selina (Shawn) Mulvena; granchildren, Nicholas, Amie, Alyse, Meg and Riley; great grandchildren, Alex, Drew, Lelan, Vhylix and Daxten; great great grandson, Joshua. Anna is also survived by brother Gord (Brenda); sisters, Francis and Millie. She is predeceased by her sisters, Rose, Mildred, Lillian and Joan; brothers Archie, Dave; and her beloved dog Snoopy. Anna spent many years working retail in Regina and Calgary. With failing health, Anna returned to Saskatchewan to be closer to family. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Prairie Villa for their friendship and special care they provided mom, also to the Grasslands Health Centre nursing and kitchen staff for the care and compassion and excellent treatment shown to mom in her last few months up until her passing. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Roman Catholic Church in Rockglen, SK. followed by a BBQ and bonfire at the Mulvena Ranch.
