When i first moved to sask it seemed like a vast bleak space. Brent richmond was amongst the first person i met. He became a friend immediately, very friendly , helpful and had an amazing amount of patience and was just a genuine real person who never asked for anything in return . Brent was a special man and a special friend. When my dad died he helped me through it. Even though he was already dealing with his own tragedy of his sons passing . I will miss brent as im sure most everyone who ever met him will . I believe the gravelbourg area will feel The loss of such a monumental man who went out of his way to make everyone he met feel like theyd known him forever . My sympathies to the whole richmond family and all the people who must go on without brents companionship and friendship

I had the pleasure of meeting Brent when Sharon invited me to the Richmond farm on weekends, many years ago when we were x-ray students, roommates and ultimately colleagues.
