Obituary of Wayne Reader

Wayne passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 in the Regina General Hospital at the age of 74 years. He was the eldest son of Helen Elliott and Harry Reader. He grew up on the farm with his younger brother Dale in the Woodrow district. Wayne attended Woodrow School and completed his education at Lafleche Composite School. His early years centered around his work in sales and his family. His career took them to various communities Winnipeg, Moose Jaw, Saskatoon, Regina, Watson and back to Regina. During the seventies he excelled in the real estate profession. He earn the title of realtor of the year and was also runner up on numerous occasions. In 1985 a career change was in order and Wayne attended Bible School and became a minister. He continued to serve until the 90's. He enjoyed hunting deer, ducks and geese. He had many chapters in his life that were filled with goodness. These are the chapters of the smiles in our lives. However, like all of us he also had chapters that were filled with struggles, and hard times. His failing health and battle with cancer forced him to enter Wascana Rehabilitation for an extended period of time. Rest in peace Wayne. .
