loved children; Nadine, Roger, Marc and his wife Junko; her grandchildren Shaina,
Mercedes, Mackenzie, Jarek, Layla, Lucas, and great-grandson Dominic. Predeceased
by her parents Louis and Mabel (Malekoff) Osachoff, her brother Alexander, and her
sister Catherine. Laura grew up in Kylemore, Saskatchewn, leaving home to study nursing

in 1958, married in 1959 and moved to Regina. In 1963 they moved to Lafleche
where Laura worked as a nurse at the Lafleche Union Hospital until her retirement
in 1998. Laura was active in the town life in Lafleche, belonging to the CWL, curling for
many years, playing softball, and after retirement she turned to her real passions
which were artistic in nature. She took up painting and carving, guitar and banjo,
quilting for all of her children and grandchildren, and sang in the church choir
for many years and most recently had taken a class in stained glass which truly fascinated
her. Many happy times were spent with her friends and family at her home in Lafleche –
the door was always open. Laura will be greatly missed. Prayers were at 7 p.m.
