It is with sadness I note the passing of Merle. Our lives intersected when I was President of Sask Pool and Merle a Delegate and Director. Saskatchewan farmers had no better champion than Merle, he was completely dedicated to improving the social and economic situation for Saskatchewan farm families. I soon learned that I could trust his judgement and rely upon his advice. A down to earth man with a real feel for the farm situation and complete dedication to agriculture.
