Obituary of Aline Tetreault

Aline Marie Tetreault passed away at the Foyer d’ Youville, Gravelbourg, SK, on March 21, 2018, with family at her side. Aline was born on September 11, 1941, on the family farm in the Gravelbourg district. Left to cherish Aline's memory is her husband of 54 years, Roland Tetreault; son Roger (Roberta) Tetreault, grandsons Brandon and Colin Tetreault; son Gilles Tetreault (Irene Kovac), grandson Benjamin O’Reilly; sisters Julienne Podevin, Jeannine (Marcel) Facette and Denise (Charles) St. Jacques; brothers Marc André (Marilyn) Lizée and Ronald (Johanne) Lizée; brotherin- law Louis Gauthier; numerous nieces and nephews. Aline is predeceased by her parents Philemon and Yvonne (nee Lagassé) Lizée; brother Alain Lizée and sister Cecile Gauthier. Aline was a housekeeper who loved to bake and care for her family. Family life began on the farm in Glentworth with moves to Assiniboia and then to Gravelbourg where she remained to this day. Aline was a hard-working, passionate figure of strength who never waned in her support or love of her family, and who soldiered on, even when times were tough. She will always be remembered in our hearts as a loving wife, mother, Aunt, and sister where family meant the world to her. Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, Our Lady of the Assumption Co-Cathedral in Gravelbourg, SK at 11:00 a.m., with Father Carlos Jimenez and Father Minne as celebrant. Readers were Roberta Tetreault, Colette Bouffard. Prayers of the Faithful was Debbie Chrusch. Offertory Gifts presented by Brandon Tetreault, Colin Tetreault, and Benjamin O’Reilly. Music by Leona Bourgeois, André Moquin and Angele Richmond. Eulogist Roger Tetreault and Urn Bearer Gilles Tetreault. Honorary Pallbearers were Paul Podevin, George Podevin, Robert St. Jacques, Ronald St. Jacques. Interment at Gravelbourg Roman Catholic Cemetery. Memorial Tributes in Aline’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan and mass intentions were greatly appreciated.
