Obituary of Emila Puskarz
Emila Margaret Puskarz passed away at the Foyer d’Youville, Gravelbourg, SK, on March 31, 2018, at the age 95 years. She was born on February 18, 1923, the youngest of five children of Maria and Michael Wolowicz. Emila was a hard-working homemaker wife to her farming husband for 49 years of marriage. Karol passed July 5, 1996. Emila was a wonderful cook and could make amazing perogies, cabbage rolls, pies and breads. Later in her life, she developed a joy for watching sports (Riders), Wheel of Fortune, and kept up to date on current events and reading. Emila broke her hip in June of 2015. She
moved to the Foyer d’Youville, where she received excellent care and attention. She is survived by her family: daughter Margaret Steffensen (Blair Campbell); daughter Donna Puskarz; daughter Agnes (Rick) Kosh, granddaughter Janelle; son Joseph (Paulette) Puskarz; son Ken Puskarz.
