To Paul Fournier's family, I am so sorry to hear of the death of Paul. My deepest sympathy is with you in this difficult time. Please know that the family is in my prayers. Paul was such a hardworking person to work with. We will miss his ready smile and helpful attitude. He was always giving good farming lessons and a helping hand. He made sure I learned the means of being handy in the farm and he is truly going to be missed. I truly appreciate Paul taking his time to lecture me on the farming experience he gathered for many years. It was a great lifetime experience for me. I will never forget. With my deepest and heartfelt condolences to all family members. May his soul rest in peace.

My most sincere condolences to Paul`s family, and close friends. A special thought for Guy who was there when I lost my two brothers few years ago. And also a special thanks to all those who organized the enlightening memorial held in Paul`s honour in Gravelbourg on April 20-18. If there`s one thing I recall about Paul that stands out in my mind was his healthy laugh!! It was like a breath of warm air on a cold January day! I am so deeply saddened to hear of Paul"s sudden passing. Although I haven't seen Paul in recent years, I will never forget our days at college Mathieu. He was a good friend, and I will always have fond memories of him, especially the time he sat behind me in study and we talked all the time and would get in trouble. He was such a great guy.. While I did not know you Paul, I knew your brother and on the few occasions I would run into him over the decades, I was always greeted with a smile and a heart big enough to light up a city, a laugh that made the world laugh....in a word, joy. Mes sympathies à toute la famille. J'ai connu Paul quand j'allais au Collège Mathieu. C'était vraiment un bon vivant intense et dynamique. Il jouait avec moi sur l'équipe de hockey francophone de Regina Les Voyageurs et il était toujours un compétiteur féroce. J'ai parlé à Paul il y a seulement quelques semaines. Il était plein d'énergie. Son fils jouait dans la grande finale de hockey Bantam A pour la ville de Regina et mon fils jouait dans l'équipe adverse. On s'est parlé à l'aréna de White City et il parlait comment sa chirurgie sur sa hanche se guérissait à merveille et il avait hâte de revenir jouer avec Les Voyageurs. Il nous manquera. Je suis toujours sous le choc.
