Obituary of Tom Ross
Thomas Malcolm Ross of Bengough, SK passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at the age of 79. Tom was born on July 27, 1938, in Tisdale, SK, to Duncan and Frances (nee Clarke) Ross. Tom married Marilyn Kemp in Regina in 1960. While in Regina, their three children were born. From Regina they moved to Canora, SK for a year where Tom plumbed a new hospital. They then moved to Estevan, SK. While in Estevan, Tom plumbed the new Composite High School. He also worked on Units 3 and 4 at Boundary Dam Power Station. Tom and his family moved to Roy and Helen Bailey's acreage at Bengough, SK and Tom started his own plumbing business in 1971. He continued his business until June 2017, when failing health prevented him from working anymore. Tom enjoyed family, horses, dogs, hunting, camping, and being out in nature. Tom is survived by his loving wife Marilyn Ross (nee Kemp); daughter Melanie (Kenton) Hoimyr; son Darren (Sandra) Ross; son Lyndon (Janelle) Ross; sisters Lillian (Sheldon) Perry, Grace (Bruce) Tetreau, Merry Lider; 8 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Duncan and Frances Ross; and sister Carole Ross. Funeral Service was held on Saturday, May 5, 2018, 2:00 p.m., at the Bengough Community Centre, Bengough, SK. Family Interment took place at Clearview Cemetery, Harptree, SK.
