No Blood Today!

I was a nurse at the Kincaid Union Hospital for several years before the NDP government closed it. Every time Lloyd came in to see us he was bleeding from some small scrape or wound. We'd always laugh about it, put a dressing on it and away he'd go. I quit nursing and worked at Doug's Junction Service so every time he came in on a parts run he'd show me his hands and say "See, no blood today!" and we'd remember all the good visits we had. Beulah and Lloyd were very special people and I will miss them both now. My condolences to the family.
