Obituary of Andre Marcel POISSON

André Marcel Poisson of Lafleche, SK, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2012, at the age of 75 years. André was born in Stornway, QC on May 4, 1937 to Joseph and Yvonne (nee Poulin) Poisson. André and Delores were married in Gravelbourg on April 27, 1973, and they were blessed with five children. André worked in Quebec as a tree logger and in construction. André and Delores enjoyed traveling across the country together and after living in many different communities they retired in Lafleche. André will be dearly missed by his family and friends. André is survived by his loving family, beloved wife of 39 years Delores (nee Seebach); son Mike (Denise); daughter Christine; son Brian; grandson Billy. Predeceased by his son Donald (2003); parents Joseph and Yvonne (nee Poulin) Poisson. Graveside Service was held on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., at the Lafleche Municipal Cemetery, Lafleche, SK, with Pastor Joell Haugan officiant. Honorary pallbearers were "All those who shared in Andre’s life.” Active pallbearers were Mike Poisson, Billy Poisson, Brian Poisson, Blake Seebach, Brent Seebach, Andrew Martin and Ed Rigetti. Interment took place at the Lafleche Municipal Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Andre to the Canadian Diabetes Association of Saskatchewan, 917 Albert St., Regina, SK S4R 2P6.
