Obituary of Marion Le Tilly

Marion Le Tilly passed away peacefully at the Assiniboia Union Hospital, Assiniboia, SK on May 11, 2017, at the age of 94. Marion was predeceased by her husband Emile (2015); her son Kevin (1984); siblings Francis, Lillian and Beatrice. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Lynn (Dave) Robinson, Cindy (Dale) Burnay: granddaughter Megan (Chris) Broberg; grandson Tyler (Amanda) Robinson and great grandchild Connor Robinson. She is survived by her brother Joe (Eleanor) Bellefleur: sisters-in-law Helen Sundholm, Rosalie Blais, Yvonne Hoffos; numerous nieces and nephews; and her good friend Dennis. Marion was the fourth child of Francis and Lillian (nee Lalonde) Bellefleur. She was born on February 12, 1923 in Verwood, SK and attended school in Willow Bunch, SK. Marion married the love of her life Emile Le Tilly on November 8, 1949 and they raised their family in Assiniboia. Marion worked in the post office, was the receptionist for Dr. Gallet until he retired and then for Dr. Carulei. In 2010, Marion and Emile retired to the Chateau St. Michael in Moose Jaw, SK where they enjoyed companionship of family and new friends. Marion enjoyed knitting, loved to dance, and had a positive caring nature and a great love of life. She was very active in the community, volunteering right up until her passing. She was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed. A private family funeral service was celebrated with Father Dennis Remot celebrant. Interment – Mount Hope Cemetery.
