Mike and Amanda... there are no words to say... We are grieving the loss of your precious beautiful Beatrix as we hold our new born daughter in our arms... praying for you often as I look at the giant Beatrix Potter book in our nursery as I nurse my baby... Our church here in Nova Scotia also keeps you in our prayers...Still no words are adequate and how to pray we don't know.. but asking our Father to hold you both so close to His heart...

Dear Mike and Amanda,
we only crossed paths for a short time at the conference in Pinawa, but it was long enough for me to meet your sassy, joyful and beautiful daughter. It was a delight and a privilege for me to dance with Beatrix, to witness her enthusiasm and encounter her worshiper's heart. I was deeply saddened to witness the accident as it happened and grieved at the loss of such a young and vibrant life. Dear Michael and Amanda,
During worship that Thursday morning I was sitting on the opposite end of the room from where the accident happened. I looked between the rows from where I was sitting and noticed Beatrix walking along and looking up at the faces of the people, taking it all in. It seemed she was at such peace. Then I thought, "what a cute dress she has on, and little shoes, her parents must really care for her." Then she disappeared from my sight. A few minutes later, I saw her laying on the floor. Up until then I didn't know she was your daughter. When I saw her my heart was pierced through and all I could do what hold my hands out towards her and speak in tongues. Later I cried, as many did, for the loss of your precious daughter. May you truly experience God's continual comfort in your sorrow.
