Obituary of Jaycena Mann

Jaycena Michelle Mann passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the age of 16 years. She was born February 18, 1993 at Moose Jaw Union Hospital.  She attended Gravelbourg High School, where she was on the Honor Roll, and loved to play volleyball and enjoyed badminton.  She was talented in photography, drawing, and graphic art design. Left to cherish her memory, ever enveloped in her smile, is Mom and Dad, Leanne and Richard and her brother Jordan; her special Grandparents Glenn and Diane Mayo; Aunt Jenny Mayo; Uncle Jerry Mayo (Tessa) and her boys; Uncle George (Sonya) Mayo and their children, Jaycena’s closest cousins Janelle, Shantelle, Justyne and Kristyne; Great Grandma Gladys Mayo and Grandmama Lucille Braconnier; Grandparents Dennis and Nicole Mann and Uncle Dennis Jr. Waiting to welcome her and keep her close until we see her again are Great Grandparents Marie and Henry Mann; Grandpapa Marcel Braconnier; Great Grandparents Frank and Jean Monette; and Great Grandfather Frank Mayo. A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gravelbourg Co-Cathedral, Gravelbourg, SK with Rev. Janet Kostyna and Pastor David Willis presiding. Music was performed by Marc and Wendy Gauthier and Melanie Rrotheisler. Pallbearers were George Mayo, Jerry Mayo, Cody Conn, Doug Rolfe, Wayne Morin and Darryl Neubeker. An Honor Guard was formed by the Gravelbourg Class of 2010. A Private Family Interment will be held at a later date. Memorial tributes in Jaycena’s memory were made to the Jaycena Mann Memorial Fund. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Piche-Hawkins-Grondin Funeral Chapels Assiniboia & Gravelbourg.
