We fondly remember Bill mostly through his music. He attended and participated in so many talent showcases, singing and accompanying other artists, at various community events. Most memorable was a Talent night when he and Leeta sang and we were spell-bound. He will always be remembered as a family man who drew others to him through his music. Rest peacefully, Bill.

My memories of Bill are at the rink. Bill was our coach and he took care of the defence. He had 3 defencemen - Shane, Big Barry and Marty.
He had to keep the pressure on, there was very little time to rest with only one of us on the bench at a time.
He kept us flying with that big voice, and a (hard) slap on the back after a good shift.
Bill was kind, loyal, and full of life. He laughed so loud at all of our jokes.
Growing up in Mankota in the 80’s was a wonderful experience. Bill Kohl was a big part of that.
The Lovo family sends our love to the Kohl family.

Mary, Leeta, Tanya & Family, My deepest sympathies and so sorry for your loss. Heaven has become a happier place now with Bill's passing. I remember going to many, many talent shows with my Mom so we could see and hear Bill and Leeta sing and play. I also remember staying up to all hours of the morning to again see them perform on Teleamircle . My Mom would say "Sure wish they would make a tape (later CD), I could listen to them all day" Pretty sure she will be asking Bill to play for her. I hope you know how many people, he and Leeta or just Bill and his guitar, have touched and made their day a little better. May he rest in peace with his son.

Mary, Leeta, Tanya and families - we are so sad to hear of Bill’s passing. While we kids were still quite young when we left Mankota, I have very vivid memories of Bill with his guitar singing at our house and at a specific Wideview School dance (where I first learned to two-step!). We know how hard it is to lose a parent and, even though you will think of him every day, the thoughts will become happy instead of sad over time. I’m sure our parents are very happy to see him again. Take care and our thoughts are with you all.
