Obituary of Trish Sewell

Patricia "Trish" Marie Sewell of Lafleche, Saskatchewan passed away on June 20, 2021, with her loving husband by her side. Trish was born on March 17, 1952, in Regina, Saskatchewan. She was the second child of Ed and Teressa Uhrich. She attended school at Francis, Saskatchewan, and enjoyed playing ball in her younger years. She was blessed with three daughters Janelle, Janet and Nicole.  She later met her soul mate Joseph Sewell and they were married on March 31, 2011 and was blessed to gain two sons, Shane and Shawn.  Trish and Joe made a wonderful life on the farm north of Lafleche.

She was a wonderful cook, and the fruits of her labour were enjoyed by many. She found great solace in spending time in her yard. Above all, Trish loved her family and was very proud of them. Her heart overflowed with joy every time a new grandchild or great-grandchild was born.   She will be greatly missed and forever loved. Trish is survived by her loving family, husband Joe Sewell; daughter Janelle Schmidt (Ben), granddaughters Jennifer and Ashley; daughter Janet Schaeffer and granddaughter Raistlin; daughter Nikki Schaeffer, granddaughters Trista and Katia; son Shane (Andrea) Sewell and grandson Tayler (Morgan), great-grandchildren Kaylee and Bennett; granddaughter Trinity; son Shawn Sewell (Megan), grandchildren Brayden, Avery and Briley. Her sister Carol (Barry) Berg; her brother Mike (Carol) Uhrich; nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Ed and Teressa Uhrich and mother-in-law Cecile Sewell (Louis Laflamme). Private Funeral Service was held on Thursday, June 24, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Piche Hawkins Grondin Funeral Chapels in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan with Reverend Janelle Shaw officiating.
