Obituary of Elsie Ash

Elsie Ash of Lafleche, SK passed away on December 14, 2021, with her loving family and the caring staff of the Lafleche and District Health Centre by her side. Elsie was born on July 21, 1929, at Prud'Homme, SK. She was the oldest daughter of Steve and Annie (nee Andre) Nemeth, and sister to Rita, Robert, and Roger. Elsie was blessed with five children. She was a wonderful caregiver, hard worker, and incredible mother, raising her five children on her own. Elsie enjoyed gardening and was a wonderful cook. She was a nurturing soul and had a special place in her heart for babies and animals, especially cats. Above all, Elsie loved her family and was very proud of them. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.Elsie leaves to mourn her daughter Dodie Seebach; daughter Betty-Lou Melton; son Bill (Darcy) Ash; son Wayne Ash; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Rita (Dan) Kachur; and many nieces and nephews. Elsie was predeceased by her daughter Barbara Hinton; parents Steve and Annie Nemeth; brothers Robert Nemeth and Roger Nemeth.  Elsie will be laid to rest with her parents and daughter Barbara at a later date at Hillcrest Cemetery, Saskatoon, SK.
