I must have been about 18 or so, and I headed into the Costley house to wait for Andrew as we had plans. As I sat down in the living room, Lise and I started talking about random topics and we headed down the path of post-secondary school. Lise grabbed some various books from different schools and started going through them…..one by one we’d talk about different programs, cities and overall interests. After a while, Andrew showed up and we left, but I didn’t forget for a second what had just happened. Someone who treated me like a son, (as did Ivan) had instilled a lot of faith and courage in me. I will never forget that and credit her with having a major influence on my life. You created a home that I was always invited into which, I always left happier than when I arrived. I can still see her smile and joyfully shake her head when Andrew or Mike and I were going out of the house from kids to adults. Lise and Ivan created a family that became a 2nd family to me. I am looking forward to celebrating Lise’s life with everyone that has been touched by her soul. Forever in my heart - Rob

I’m still in shock, words cannot express how I wish this was all a bad dream! Rarely a memory I have as a child without Lise. I can say the most special one to me was when I was playing in the closet and I stepped on a nail in a board and she calmed me down and nursed the wound and we whispered about it for why seemed days afterwards (as I wasn’t supposed to be in the closet hiding) The fresh muffins on the countertops. The drying of the wet sweatshirts from the rain at Mitchelton ball. I can see it all so clear with her smirk and laugh and the way she’d say oh Ivan. Lol. They broke the mold with Lise and if the world had more, imagine what a wonder place it would be! She was the definition of LoVE. Forever in our hearts- Colleen
