Obituary of Allan Woit

Allan Woit of Mossbank, Sk passed away quietly on Dec. 16, 2021 at Assiniboia Union Hospital at the age of 95. He is predeceased by his parents, wife Rose (nee Dirk), brothers William, George and Harvey, sister Betty. Survived by daughter Brenda and partner Barry. Allan and Rose were married in 1950. He worked for Gulf Oil Co. with cousin Wilfred, the Assiniboia School District as a bus driver for 11 years. He farmed all his life, worked as a hired hand and did custom grain hauling. In his earlier years he enjoyed curling, golfing, joining friends for daily morning coffee, and many games of rummy at local establishments. The couple did many activities over the years but the constant was camping in their RV. They camped in B.C., Alta, Man. and all over Sask. They joined the Good Sams Club where they made lifelong friends. They moved into Furrows and Faith Villa in 2015, continued camping, playing cards, visiting with friends and enjoying music. He often said he was lucky to have such a good life.
