Heather & I send our sincere condolences to the family of Aunt Helen.
We echo the kind words already been written by others.
My memory of Aunt Helen goes back to when she was not yet my aunt. She drove out to Lipton, Sask. with her fiancé, my Uncle Herb, to check out the teaching position & accommodation, and came out to our farm. I got to ride in their car - and she was driving. I was impressed, because I had not seen a lady driver before. I loved her bubbly personality & was happy to think that she would some day be my aunt. While teaching in Lipton she looked so young that she had to fend off the advances of more than one young lad who thought she was just a new girl in town.
We will always treasure the memories of our visits in Verwood, Mesa and at our place in Sarnia, Ontario
