I will always have wonderful memories of my uncle Yvon, he loved all his nephews and nieces as his own children and was always giving them gifts or taking time to hear the latest news in our lives. If we weren’t driving his VW wagon, it was his mustang or his trucks, early driving lessons on the race track proved to be good lifelong lessons. He loved hunting and I spent many seasons hunting with him as a child to adulthood, discussing strategy and getting many laughs when he would freeze ducks snd geese for his friends in BC, many times with the feathers on. He loved music, he would get me to buy the best available stereo for his new vehicles so he could listen yo music as he drove through the mountains each fall and spring. He never wanted to disappoint his many good friends, even if it meant that we had to eat three Christmas dinners in the same afternoon/ evening as we drove Vancouver Island from house to house, so funny. No matter how I’ll or how much pain he was in, rarely would he let you know, even if it meant that he stay in the hospital for a month without his distant family knowing. My family and I miss him very much but cherish him in our memories and we celebrate his life as he would want us to do. Jumping seagulls, that was a shoot!
