Mr. Maloney was my grade 9 English teacher in Shaunavon. He was the best English and grammar teacher I ever had. He was also the best Oral reader I have ever heard. Shaunavon recently had their 100 year birthday and many of us were gathered talking about "way back when". Mr. Maloney was talked about lots and always the same thing was said "He was my favorite teacher", "I could have listened to him read forever". Mr. Maloney taught ever one of my siblings. They have an age range of 14 years and everyone of them had nothing but good things to say about him. I will always remember him fondly and my thoughts are with his family.

Mr. Maloney was a favourite teacher of ours. We thought of him often. He was the most down to earth teacher we had. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

We were all saddened to hear of Mr. Maloneys passing. He was a big part of our family's school and hockey life in Shaunavon - his knowledge of so many subjects and his ability to assess the situation made us respect him immensely . Our sympathy goes out to his family and friends.

Our condolence to the family of a teacher who my two boys really liked. Mr. Maloney (Ed). They always said he was a great teacher and a kind man. When my our son Brent graduated in 1984 he gave Brent $50.00 for a grad present. Brent thought that was so special. He was a unique and special person especially to his students.

Sorry to hear of Mr. Maloney's death. I was a student of Mr. Maloney's at Shaunavon High School (Graduated 1991). Mr. Maloney left a lasting impression on me even all these years later. He was a good teacher. I can still remember him reading "The Titanic" & "To Kill A Mockingbird" to our class. My condolences to his family.

Thought often of you and hoped you were well. (I hope my English/grammar is adequate) *smile* Thoughts with the family and friends of "Mr. Maloney". And for the record, no one could so eloquently say, "Voll, get out!", like Mr. Maloney. Good teacher and had the opportunity to visit with him after school years. All great memories, and thanks to his teaching ability, I was able to pursue a university degree. RIP.......
