Dearest Aunty Yvonne,
Dave, Nick and I were very saddened to hear of Uncle Marcel's passing. He is no longer suffering and is at peace. May you find love and comfort in all of your family and friends. Our deepest sympathy.

I met Marcel through a good friend of mine Bill Oxley. Bill and I would be doing some work at his farm and needed parts so came to Pontiex. Every trip to town or to Bill's north farm we would stop to see Marcel at the shop. He would tell us to pull up the chairs around where he sat. He would then go to the fridge and bring back some refreshments.{ you can guess what they were} We would sit and have a good visit and tell each other stories. Some of them I think had a little{Bull} in them but we never argued. We always had a good time . It was time for Bill and I to leave and Marcel would say by the way boys I have a little job I need a hand with . We always had time to help with these some times not so small jobs but they got finished.We would carry on the way. The next time we would go we would joke about what kind of a job Marcel was going to have for us.You and Bill will be saidly missed. Doug Sherman</p>

Yvonne: Penny and I are very sorry to hear of Marcels passing. He was a very good friend and would help anyone anytime. He had a great sense of humor and a quick response to anyone. He will be greatly missed by us and the community. Thank you Marcel for all the great times we had together.
