Tante Jeanne was a strong, solid presence in many lives. She lived her life buy her rules and was a pioneer in a sense. She was an independent woman who embraced her whole life and the whole world. She generously shared her home and stories of travel abroad. I fondly remember wonderful dinners and big family parties she hosted. She welcomed me in to the family so warmly. She will be missed but her memory will live on, as sister, aunt and friend. I will honor her strong presence in our lives by passing on her strength and stories to my daughters.
