Irène s’est battue pour que les femmes de la Saskatchewan s’expriment et que les droits de tous les Fransaskois/fransaskoise soient reconnus et respectés. Elle m’avait demandé de donner de la formation aux fils et filles de pionniers pour qu’ils déposent leurs récits aux archives provinciales, ainsi l’histoire des Fransaskois et Fransaskoises seraient préservés pour la postérité. Un jour, Irène ta voix sera entendue... merci de ta grande contribution. Ta famille te pleure et tes amie(es) ne t’oublieront pas.
