Ed and Marion worked together as Diectors of Education in neighboring school divisions for many years. As we decorated our tree today and placed the beautiful crocheted ornaments, given to Ed by Marion, we thought of her. Our condolences to the family.

I had the pleasure of knowing Marion when I worked at the Regional Office of Education. She was a beautiful, kind woman. Always a smile and so very polite. She gave me several crocheted angel Christmas tree decorations. I will always remember her with great fondness.

Marion was absolutely one of my favourite teachers - partially because she made the best cupcakes and cakes. Her door was always opened and her smile was always the biggest and brightest. She left a lasting impression at Gravelboug High School.

Dick and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to your entire family. Marion was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. I know she will be missed more than words can say. Dale would always update me on the lovely visits she, Ron, Andre and Irene shared over the years with you, Claude, and Marion. Those were special moments and will always be remembered with love. When Dick and I lived in Moose Jaw back in the late 70's/early eighties I can still picture Marion bringing over wonderful baked goods for all to enjoy when we were visiting Dale and Ron. Dale always said no one could bake like Marion. I know it is hard to say good-bye to someone loved so much but she will always be right by your side and always in your hearts. Again, our condolences. Condolences to Uncle Claude, Stephan, Desiree and family. Growing up we always stayed at Uncle Claude and Aunty Marion's when we went to Dads hometown of Gravelbourg. I always looked forward to staying at Claude and Marion's because I thought they lived in a castle, Uncle had a tattoo and I always thought Aunty was the most beautiful, intelligent, classy lady I knew.

Sending my heartfelt sympathy to the Piche family. Mme Piche had such a beautiful soul and touched the lives of so many of us. She was a classy, caring and compassionate lady who I greatly admired and respected. As one of her former students, she influenced us in so many positive ways and always encouraged us to strive to reach our highest potential. Not only did she share her knowledge with us, she opened her heart and home to us. Her passion and influence helped shape me. As one of my favourite teachers, Mme Piche instilled a love a learning and of the French language in me. In her role as a French high school teacher and Director of Education, she opened so many doors for me, such as: guiding me to apply for a bursary to spend my Grade 11 summer in Jonquiere, Quebec; preparing me for entry into the French BAC program at the U of R to pursue a teaching career; and offering me my first teaching contract with the Gravelbourg School Division. She was a mentor and true friend who always believed in me and taught me to believe in myself. I am extremely thankful she was a part of my life. She will be forever lovingly remembered and held in high regard. Mme Piche was a human angel who walked among us and now she watches over us from above. Someday, we'll have a reunion in Heaven. In the meantime, I will follow Mme Piche's example and try to positively influence my students while instilling a love of learning and French language in them. ❤
