My sincere sympathy on the passing of Elmer. Elmer bought my Dad's ( Peter Geres ) farm, when Dad bought the store in Bateman Emer was my bus driver when I was in Grade 11 & had to go to Gravelbourg school due to shortage of teachers in Bateman. He always had a smile on his face. He is with his loved ones now and at peace God bless you all Margery Morin ( Geres )

Dear Cousins When Elmer was baptized, Jesus promised him a crown of life. Our Lord delivered on that promise this past Thur June 23rd. For Elmer there will be no more tears, no more pain, there will only be rejoicing in Heaven by his friends and family that have gone before him. Our prayer for you the family, that Jesus gives you comfort and peace during your time of grief. Someday we all join Elmer to be with the Savior forever. My deepest condolences to all of Elmer’s family. He will be missed. My earliest memory of him was as a ball player. He was always at our ballgames or wearing the Bateman green uniform.
